The primary ingredient in our PAP formula is Phthalimidoperoxycaproicacid (PAP).

Similar to traditional whitening chemicals like hydrogen peroxide, PAP whitens teeth by oxidising organic pigments (chromogens). In simple terms, PAP breaks the double bonds in these organic compounds to neutralise its staining capabilities.
